Lang Gu means when you turn your back toward someon or something, you just peek and be cautious about what behind you ,without turning you body.There is another point of view says what Lang Gumeans is people who is able to turn his head 90 degrees without moving body when look back like wolves
I'm tried to figure out the ancient people's feeling, how they facing a creature with awe.
It like the first time meet the wolf, an unfamiliar creature, can only represent it by their memories. and because they know nothing about what in front of them, so they can face the wolves with more cautious and awe.
